For Donors
People choose the Chaffee County Community Foundation as their philanthropic partner because we make giving easy, flexible, transformational, and yes, enjoyable. We offer a range of giving options to serve every donor and almost every interest. If you can imagine it and it involves philanthropy, CCCF can probably make it happen.

Every fund at CCCF is established to reach our donors’ charitable goals. Grants from these funds strengthen our community and improve the quality of life for folks who live here.

The most common “power tool” of every community is the “Donor Advised Fund.”

So, what is a donor-advised fund?

A donor-advised fund, or DAF, is established by a donor who makes a charitable contribution to the foundation, receives an immediate tax benefit, and then recommends grants from the fund over time.

Can I make more then one contribution to my DAF?

Yes. You can contribute multiple gifts to your fund anytime

I already have a DAF at another financial entity. Can I transfer it to CCCF?

Yes. Contact us and we will help you transfer your donor advised fund to the Foundation.
